Background: Medication errors and resulting Adverse Drug Events (ADEs) are an important issue of global healthcare. Objectives:

To evaluate the usability, user accpentace and impact of the ADE Scorecards on ADE rates in the hospital of Denain.

Methods:

Interrupted time-series analysis of ADE rates, identified throught manual chart review, 2007 - 2012

Log-File-Analyse of ADE Scorecards

Qualitative interviews with clinical users (physicians, pharmacists, nurses)

The project terminated in summer 2013, see our publication lists for results.
