Background: |
Based on the development of novel linear accelerator models, new radiation treatment techniques such as IMRT, IGRT and VMAT become applicable. However, radioation with minimal dose can be the reason for the induction of secondary malignancy many years afterwards. |
Objectives: |
The objective of this project is to develop the platform and framework to perform a long term (range 20 years or more) study based on the preconditions given by this new radiotherapy technology. |
Methods: |
Systems analysis and requirements analysis regarding clinical research questions, data needs, interfaces, data integration, data modell, data input and data output
|
Results: |
The project is running at the moment. |
